We were wondering how much it costs these days to buy a vote. It varies by candidate, but by how much? According to the website publicintegrity.org, Hillary Clinton spent a total of $624M on her presidential campaign, while Donald Trump spent $282M. Accorind to Politico.com on 11/11/16, Clinton received 60,467,245 votes, while Trump received 60,071,650 votes. By doing a little simple math, we found that Clinton spent $10.32 on every vote she received, while Trump spent $4.69 on every one of his votes. That means that Clinton had to spend 120% more than Trump for every one of her votes. Any way you look at it, Trump got the better deal.
